Biographical Info

Hinda Mitchell is the President of Inspire PR Group, and she brings to Inspire more than 25 years of experience in agency, corporate and media work. Hinda provides ongoing communications counsel to state and national trade associations, advocacy groups, national corporations, education organizations, nonprofit groups and companies of all sizes. Hinda has extensive experience in providing communications counsel to national food companies and agriculture organizations. She provides direct counsel to the CEOs of numerous national companies and regularly assists clients in navigating difficult issues and crisis situations. She has led communications programs for a number of high-profile crises in food safety and animal agriculture, including the 2010 recall of a half-billion eggs and helping companies in the US and Canada respond to more than 20 “undercover videos” released by animal rights organizations. Before founding Inspire in 2014, Hinda served for four years as vice president of a national agriculture and food communications firm headquartered in Kansas City and for 16 years with an Ohio-based regional public relations agency. Hinda’s areas of expertise include issues management, crisis communications, advocacy and policy, legislative communications, grassroots outreach, community and media relations, image and reputation management, and strategic communications planning. She is a sought-after public speaker and has addressed state and national organizations across the country. Hinda is an officer of the Ohio Agricultural Council (OAC) and sits on the organization’s executive committee as incoming president. She is a Member of the Heartland Bank Ambassadors’ council. She is a past Board member of the Ohio FFA Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in communications from Ball State University. She is the proud mother of Courtney and Nick and a committed volunteer for church, school and hunger relief programs.
